Welcome to Vlogmas Day 6. As you have probably figured out by now, these are not daily vlogs but we’ll just go with it. In today’s video, we take you through a day in the life of Al and al as we prepare for Alexa’s intrasquad gymnastics meet. Everything from starting off with a healthy breakfast to taping up her knee for more stability and showing you how to do a gymnastics bun. This was a great opportunity to create a gymnastics bun tutorial for long hair. At the optional level, she has the choice of gymnastics bun hairstyles – doing a traditional ballerina bun or a floppy bun.

Unfortunately, due to this intrasquad meet, we had to miss our annual COF holiday party which was taking place two hours away in Roseville. I love my BFF for capturing video messages from our friends as they were enjoying themselves without us. If you’re not familiar with intrasquad gymnastics competitions, it’s basically an in-house meet for all the gymnasts to run through all their events like they would at a real meet so they can get in the mode for competition season. They can take the feedback from the judges and fine tune the skills over the next few weeks before their first official meet in less than a month. This was a long but productive day.
